I finally decided to re-join the gym after three years of hiatus. Err, not really a total absence though since I must count bicycling as a form of exercising as well. During my early days back in Jakarta in 2008 I used to go anywhere by bike and the bonus I got from the activity was a pair of strong and firm legs. I even honestly did not detect any cellulite marks on my thighs at the time. Basically, I love exercises involving legs such as bicycling, walking and running. However, I prefer fast walking than running though. The only time I (meant to) seriously jog in the past three years was in this event called Jakarta 5 K, where we jogged for five kilometers along the city main street. The organizer of the event was the US embassy and I was invited to join it by a US-national friend. I truly admire the strength of my American friend who was able to run the entire way non-stop!! No wonder though as she was very fit, jogs almost daily and very discipline in doing yoga. Unfortunately, I could not jog the entire event as I got tired easily so yeah I was left behind, together with a number of my fellow sluggish participants haha. We still managed to get through the finish line though, by fast walking off course. Anyway, I haven’t started my new job yet so I have been taking advantage of this me times by going to the gym, watching TV, coloring my nails and blogging :P . I took these photos today as I am currently in love with my new leather belt from ASOS. I paired it with ZU leather oxford brogues, Dickies skinny jeans and Ally t-shirt. I know the photo quality is bad since I took it from my cell phone camera :P.
